I do a lot of typing on my Mac. Since I got Lion, if Mac thinks I'm spelling something wrong, it corrects itself. I read what i just typed, and there's words that I didn't write. I thought I was going crazy until I realized that Mac was trying to outguess me. There's an on line forum game I used to play called "Fudd A Song", where you write the title of a song the way Elmer Fudd would say it. Mac corrects me, so playing that game is a little difficult. I had to check and double check this post to make sure it was right.

How do I turn this off?

It werkd!!! Thanx. I fele betr allreddy.

haha. clearly

I was wondering if there is a way to set spell check to auto correct things like punctuations because I always type dont instead of don't. Or i instead of I. I know its pure laziness and I always correct it but if I miss it I feel like i failed engrish.
