I've just noticed that for whatever reason TextEdit is not correcting groups of words run-on. Does anyone know how to correct TextEdit so that when space between words are left out spelling check will at least find them, so I can correct the group of words that are missing spaces.

Normally TextEdit will find and ask for correction, or auto correct if I choose. But not now. Why?

Correction: The text I copied was from a webpage.

I am beginning to think that the copied text included formatting that blocked TextEdit from finding any of the run-on words in the new document. In order to correct run-on text, I have to find it first, if TextEdit doesn't FIRST. Normally it does find it first. Not this copied text though. There had to have been something in the copied text formatting that blocked TextEdit from pointing out all the run-on text copied.
