Spellcheck: Turn off by default?

How to turn off spellcheck in all aplications by default?

For example, I do not see option to turn off spellcheck in iTunes, each new Note in Stickies has spellcheck on and I have to manually turn it off each time.

As I understand, I won't be able to enable spellcheck for certain apps manually? This method provides complete disabling of spellcheck?

If this works as claimed, the red underlining will be disabled in all apps, until you reverse the process. Complete disabling.
