Spigen Liquid Air Armor for iPhone X

Does anyone have a Spigen Liquid Air Armor that can confirm whether or not the metal frame of the X is exposed under the buttons. The images on Amazon make it look like the frame is exposed. On the 7/8 version it’s not. I wouldn’t want dirt getting in between the case and buttons. Don’t know why they would change a good design.

Yes, I have the case and you are right. There are perforations there where dust may enter. I hadn't noticed this myself before. The buttons are still covered by a piece of TPU, but there's just little bits of it on the side that hold it on the case. I might buy a different case now. Thanks for making me take a closer look.

Thanks for confirming! I just cancelled my order. Still have the Liquid Crystal coming. It appears to offer full button coverage.

Are you sure? I just checked this out on Amazon, it looks like the same as the liquid armor, just without the texture. Let me know what it's like once you receive it, if the buttons are indeed fully covered then I will buy it as well!

Dang. You might be right. My case should be here on Monday. I'll take a look and let you know. This sucks. The Liquid Armor and Liquid Crystal were my favorite 7/8 Plus cases.

As asuandy now knows from another thread, sadly the slits are there on the Liquid Crystal's.

May I suggest the ESR Crystal Slim?

Can match the band colour to your iPhone (Silver or Space Grey) and still have a watermark free transparent rear or the whole thing clear. The camera cut out surround is colour matched too.

Smaller form factor than the Spigen too.

Yep! What a disappointment. I have an ESR on my 8 Plus and will be sticking with them for my X.

I just got this case in today. It does indeed cover up the buttons appropriately. However, the case is much thinner than the spigen ones and the raised lip at the front of it also seems smaller so overall this case is going to be significantly less protective than the spigen ones.
