Spikes in GPU History monitor - Pro Vega 20

I just bought this 2019 MacBook Pro. I previously had a 2017. I regularly keep Activity Monitor running to see CPU and GPU usage and never saw this kind of behavior on the last machine.

Auto graphics switching is ON.

I'm not doing anything video intensive. It seems to occur just arbitrarily. And only while Chrome is running, with hardware accelleration enabled, which I know uses the GPU. But again, my last machine never showed full spikes like this.

Is this normal?

Try switching to Safari and Firefox for a while to see if the same thing occurs. Keep track of which apps report to use the dGPU.
