Hi guys

I need a word of advise...
My mate spilled half a bottle of beer on my macbook, i dried it with a hairdryer and also exposed it to the sun for about 48 hours. It seems to be working properly but only while running with charger as when trying to run with battery it made a funny noise and ive also noticed that some green stuff came out of it so i suppose, that battery need to be replaced?? another thing is that it seems to be booting up longer then it used to do before the spillage, is that coz of the spillage? shall i give it to the repair to get it cleaned? i use macbook 13.3 1gb ram 100gb hdd 2.1gh dual core 2
PLEAS HELP, my macbook is my baby! (i know i should kill my mate)

And that's just in the last year. Doesn't include searches for "spill" or other variations. Literally hundreds of threads.
