So I spilled some tea on my keyboard, so some of the keys just wont work. The others work fine.
I tried lifting out the keys and cleaning under them, but to no avail. Still can't get them working. Is there anything I can try at home without having to bring it in to a specialist?
Please help!

You didn't say if it was a laptop, did you? If it's not, you could try the age-old putting the keyboard in the dishwasher, top shelf.

You can either take the keys off or leave them on. If you take them off you can put them in the silverware bin, cover them with a wet washcloth to hold them in. Or you can soak them in warm water.

Don't wipe off any lube on the metal parts of the keyboard keys that have a metal frame. Like the big keys.

MOST IMPORTANT - let it try for a couple days. You want it COMPLETELY DRY before you plug it back into your computer.

Can we sticky all the "spilled XXX on my keyboard" threads to make them easier to find?

I will say the frequency of "I've spilled XXX on my keyboard" threads have lessened over the past month but I know the forum search tool still works.
