I spilled water on my keyboard yesterday. I immediately shut down the machine and turned it upside down. Its been 24+hours and everything works perfectly expect that the alt key is always pressed down. So when I type, I get these random symbols from every key.

I opened up my keyboard viewer and I can see that both of the alt keys are pressed down. Now I know that it not both of them...it's just one of them, just that it shows on the viewer as both even if only 1 is pressed. Anyways, so i popped both of the keys out and fiddled around but still one of them is pressed down.

So, any suggestions what I can do? How can I tell which one is actually pressed down and how can I fix this? I don't want to spend 300$ on this so if nothing works, how can I just disable that key (because I can live with one alt key)?

Thanks!

Figured out that it's the right key that's doing it. Now if only I can somehow disable it...hardware or software...I just need one alt key...
