So after installing a HDD in my optical bay, I started trying to get it to spin down when it's not in use (most of the time). SpindownHD seems to work when it feels like it. On initial setup, I can set my drives to spin down after 1 minute. This appears to work. Once I close the lid on my MBP, and open it back up, the drive spins back up despite SpindownHD showing it as sleeping. It then never spins back down unless I do something to 'wake' it up, like accessing a file, after which it sleeps on the appropriate interval.

Anyone actually manage to get this to work properly without constant intervention?
