A few weeks ago, I turned on my work computer (specs below)
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac7,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM Version: IM71.007A.B03
SMC Version (system): 1.21f4
Serial Number (system): W87390KTZCV
Hardware UUID: 00000000-0000-1000-8000-001B63A69EE6

and heard beeps. One initial beep, and then two beeps to follow I believe.

Now, every once in a while (and not every time), on start-up, there is only one beep. In some applications (non-specific, just any application), the wheel will spin and I won't be able to do anything in that application. Also, sometimes, when I try to :apple:> Restart, Finder just gives me the wheel. Even when I click 'relaunch finder', the wheel stops, and then continues once relaunched. Any idea as to what this could be?
