SplashID quits immediately even before entering password

Mac version 5.4 with iPhone app

Up to now the desktop version has worked flawlessly but now it will not launch - the password window flashes, then quits immediately. Downloaded the latest DMG and reinstalled, but the problem remains.
Would appreciate any ideas.

I don't use that particular application but when ever something like this happens to me the fix is usually to delete the plist file. Sorry I don't have more info.

Thanks for the advice. Have tried that, and the application runs... once. Then the problem returns.

Update
Please to say that I fixed the issue by deleting all evidence of SplashID - files, folders, etc... then did a clean install.
