Splinter cell conviction on intel 3000

I am the lucky owner of an 2011 i7 13 inch macbookpro. I wish to buy splinter cell conviction (on steam for mac), but i cant find any bencmarks anywhere on the internet...
If anyone knows how this will perform on the igp 3000 please let me know!
Ive Heard alot of rumors, concerning how badly this game is optimized for OSX, so i doubt that my mac is able to run it..?

Might scrape by. Wouldn't be a good experience though.
