If I’m using split screen in iPad OS, and let’s say I have a YouTube video playing on the left screen, and on the right screen I want to play a video from another website or app, how do I mute the YouTube video on the left screen, there’s no mute icon or even a volume sound icon on the video of the app itself. I haven’t found a way to do this.

IOS does not allow for more than one video and or music source to be playing at any one time. This is why you cannot see a volume sound icon for example on a safari tab like in Mac OS. Therefore, if you play one video and decide to play a video in another window at the same time, the former will stop playing.
