I'd hunted all over for commands allowing me to bring up two pages documents side by side on the screen for easy comparison. If the documents were in reduced size, I couldn't see all the text at once and if I clicked green to enlarge to full size, the two documents overlap and hide each other.
Everyplace I tried to find info said that pages doesn't allow this sort of screen split---frustrating as I have an imac 24 with a delicious, big screen and want to use that width to my advantage!
Long story short---it's VERY easy to do split screen in pages!! Simply use the drop down arrow menu at the very bottom left of your pages document..set it to "fit width" and adjust the size for each document so they neatly fit the screen. Now both docs are full size but fit side by side for comparison.
