hi all

For some reason split screen in Safari is not an option when I click on a link and hold. In settings all multitasking options are turned on. I have tried restart and hard reset but no split screen is offered anywhere.

I am using an iPad Pro and latest iOS

Any suggestions?

Try this at least:

a) are you in landscape mode?
b) use a keyboard and press command+n, see if that works.

If those two don't work, something else might be going on.

You can split screen a few ways:

a) hold a link and select to load it in split screen.
b) hold the tab and select to load it in split screen by dragging it

Hopefully this helps you narrow down where it might work or not.

Also, I think I once tried a javascript powered link and that didn't work, it's a normal html link, no problem for me.

I think it sucks that it only works in landscape. :/ But it's actually making me using my iPad in landscape more.
