Without JB, I used to use CineXPlayer and Video DS - DualScreen Video Player.

Nevertheless, if you can jailbreak, I think you definitely want to prefer VideoPane to both. It's MUCH better, unless you want to play back non-Apple-native video files.

My iPhone 5s is.

I am after just something that allows a split screen option.
