Split Screen, Silverlight, Optimum App

I just installed El Capitan, and so far I like it. I updated the Optimum app and Silverlight, and it works well, but as usual, only on my primary display. I have a BEAUTIFUL Samsung external display, and dearly want to use it for the Optimum app. But, this is fenced off due to the way the Optimum app uses Silverlight, which doesn't allow using a second display. Stupidstupidstupid.

I can pick a fight with Optimum over this, and I know how that will come out. Or I can find some other way to use my external display like I want to.

Any suggestions about how to get this stupid app to run on the external display?
