A friend of mine told me that even on ipad air 2 (split view on some apple apps) the fonts are very small and difficult to read.... so i am very curious how the experience would be on mini 4... maybe gimicky...?

It works for me on the Air 2, but I agree that the Mini may be a little small for some of us.

I'm very interested to see how it works on the mini. Might be a bit small, but I'd have to see it in person.

I use multiwindow on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. (8.4" screen) It is surprisingly very usable. The thing to consider is that the Mini has a 7.9" screen which will obviously make things a bit tighter. I think the differentiating factor is how well the iOS apps scale to the different size.

Nothing is going to be more revealing than in-the-hand testing.
