What's the best method to use in order to have a "split window/tab" in Safari? Opera? I've read about several plugins such as Saft and Glims.

(can they do this?)

** I use firefox, flock, safari, and opera // i just want to use one.**

** My ultimate goal is use a web browser that is/can do the following:

a) fast
b) has features (or "low-resource-hoggish" plugins, addons, etc) that can...
1. notify me of yahoo/gmail webmail ...multiple accounts for yahoo and
gmail...

2. check on/update/etc my social networks, blogs, etc
...I know this can be done with Flock, or Yoono <a firefox extension>

3. maybe include IMing (I know about Flock, Yoono ...a firefox
extension)

4. good picture browsing features dealing with thumbnails, google
images, photo galleries, thumbnail galleries, etc (( I know about cooliris,
and various firefox extensions))

5. have good javascript, ad, etc blocking (either with addons or the
browser itself alone)

6. a good way to translate text, webpages, etc into various languages..

**in other words, the best way to have decent features, but not a resource-hog // and use the least amount of plugins, addons, bookmarklets, etc as possible***

any suggestions are welcome :)
