Splitting Itunes purchases between two people???

I have an itunes collection that has purchased, under one apple ID, many songs that my son, my daughter, and I have selected and purchased.

My son wants to start his own collection under his own apple ID but wants his songs from my collection. How do I do this??

I don't care if I have access to them anymore, but they are "authorized" under my apple ID right now.

As far as I know, you cannot transfer ownership of iTunes purchased songs.

How many PCs/Macs are involved?

if it's less than 5 just authorize "your" tracks on your son's machine as well as his own. You can have multiple accounts in one iTunes library.

Will they be played on another mac? You can authorize the songs for use on another computer
