splitting off family plan for iPhone5/4S

Right now, my dad and I are on a family plan with two iPhone 3GSs.

We have passed our two year contract and I was wondering if I am able to get my own new phone, start my own plan, but keep my unlimited data?

Part of me hopes that sprint gets the iPhone so there might be the chance they have unlimited data in case I have to start from scratch. Only problem is their service.
