While typing in most any application (Pages, Mail, etc.), the cursor suddenly moves to a previously-typed area in the document, and my input continues at that "relocated" point. I'm not aware of any precipitating input to cause this. It's simply a nuisance to move the incorrectly-placed words, etc. I'm using rMBP, OSX 10.8.3, Magic Mouse. Any thought?

Hm, that should rule out accidentally whacking the trackpad while typing. Have you checked the battery level of the Magic Mouse recently? Or have you noticed this behavior even when there are fresh batteries installed? Also, how long have you noticed this problem for?

Yes and yes to your first 2 questions. FWIW, I rarely use the pad. The problem has been present since I started using my rMBP (purchased in June, 2012). I was using Mountain Lion in my previous MBP (purchased in Dec. 2007), but didn't have the problem with that device. I'm pretty diligent about updating software & hardware. Thank you for your responses.
