Spoofcalling works great, such thing as spoof texting?

I have CallerID Faker to fake calls from numbers for free for 2 mins, is there an equivalent for texting. Its just so much fun to mess with my friends with it

Why is that?
Last night I literally spent a couple hours with my friends calling people as other people. It was quite fun.
