... Kicks off tonight and tomorrow.
I bloody love this show, but not the way the BBC remains silent until 2 weeks before it's due to air, heh. Should be a good un :)

Anyone else mildly interested, possibly raving addict of this show?

I'd happily consider myself a raving addict! I'm extremely grateful you posted this, I woulda completely missed it otherwise :)

So, new series of Spooks and Dead Set starting tonight... sweet :D

Cool, but I wasn't all that impressed with the last series. I think I prefer more 'self-contained' episodes like the first few series, rather than the more 24-like approach of a having a single storyline run through the whole series.

Well that was just spectacular. Good to see them on top form again, but I'll be waiting till tomorrow for ep2.

But... Pairing a Nokia 3310 with a Macbook Air, come on now

I'm a fan and I watched. The "unintentional" Apple product placement was rather amazing. They've been caught out before for featuring the Apple logo, and I saw it a few times during the episode (and a few iMacs with the logo covered). I'm sure some professional complainer will write a very strongly worded letter about it.

I did start watching the second episode on BBC 3 but was distracted, so I'll wait 'till tomorrow for that.

guessing epi 3 is on bbc3 tuesday ? i hope these turn up on iTunes next week

as i can feel another purchase coming on :D

don't forget uploading files on a cd over a 9.6kbps modem - and i thought 3G was good in london

What a fantastic show. Pity we don't have access to season 7 here in the US
There is no show here in the US, in the same genre, that comes even close to the quality of Spooks

that comes even close to the quality of Spooks
Or here, for that matter. As far as production values and overall quality goes nothing comes close to Spooks. Shame that the Doctor Who gang don't half inch the special effects people from this show.

Cept the computer and handheld interfaces look really Flash-y and naff. My only beef.

'Fraid you're out of luck there :p

aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I can Finally join this thread. Just watched the first episode on iPlayer.

King Harry is back on the telly.

Off to the second episode.

I couldn't sleep on Friday night so I watched the first two episodes on iPlayer on my phone from half 3 to half 5 in the morning. Can't wait for the next episode. I wish the real MI5 was more like Spooks rather than the type of people who leave top secret documents on trains.

Do we have any evidence that they don't use Macs in the Russian navy? :D;)
C'mon, everyone knows the bad guys only use Dells!

I had a bit of an insomniatic night on Tuesday and stayed up to watch the third episode. You're in for a treat ;)

For anyone that's interested, The Register ran an article about the viability of the Russian's DDoS attack on the UK.

That was nothing short of amazing, but they do seem to keep reusing the same muslim/suicide bomb/london formula. Doubt any will replace the rather brilliant one in series 2 or 3 I think, where their chap on the inside (cleanskin?) is found out.

Harry doesn't know that his bookshop friend is against him?

Yeah, good though it was that particular story line is getting a bit tired. Be nice to have an episode that didn't finish with a race to defuse a bomb, but hey.

Watched episode four on BBC3 tonight - was excellent, with a rather clever ending. I shall say no more :)

It may just be me, but the Spooks manners are really starting to peck my head. Not because they're rude, just because it's weird. Could they say goodbye before hanging up the phone or walking away for once?

Was a good episode.

Will be interesting in seeing how Sugarhorse develops.

I like that they don't always get their way otherwise it would just be boring.
