I couldn’t think of a good title for this one...

So I’m laying here in my bed and I ask Siri on my HomePod to turn off the lights. “Hey Siri, turn off the lights.”..... nothing. I try again, still nothing, but the light on top of the HomePod still glows. I then asked Siri to turn off each light individually, that worked.

so probably just a glitch right?
So now, my room is dark and I’m about to go to bed, but then the HomePod gets very loud, I thought it was my phone vibrating on the table, pulsating as if I had a phone call, but no it was the HomePod. I have never in all my years heard something like this sound from a speaker.

am I alone here? Has anyone else experienced this???

IIRC, someone else posted some creepy thing the HomePod did a few months back. I’d be lying if I told you I remember exactly what the circumstance was but hey, it’s software. Glitches out every now and again. If Freddy Kruger’s voice was coming out of it, then I’d probably run for the hills as fast as I can.
