Spore DRM on Mac question

Hello,

Since Spore is DRM protected instead of disc protected, I don't need a disc to play the game after I install it when I install on a Windows PC. But on a Mac, it requires me to insert the disc. How do I install spore so I do not need to insert the disc on a Mac?

It does make me insert the disc on a Mac, but not on my other Vista machine.

Strange, isn't it? With the annoying DRM in place, internet activation is how EA prevents piracy. Is it different on a Mac?
