Spore on the mac?

I'm new to macs so this will come as a stupid question to you die hard users, but will the newly released game spore work on my mac?

A Google search for Spore Mac gets you what you need. YES. It only works on Intel Macs.

Yes. The Creature Creator is already available, and the full game will be available on Intel Mac (likely due to the use of Cider) and there will be another game on the iPhone, eventually.
