Spore Patch for Mac Problems

I decided to download the Spore patch. It downloaded fine and all but the installer just seem to stop moving near the end. I've forced quit it, uninstalled Spore, then reinstalled it yet the patch still won't work. Now i can't even start the game. Any help?

I almost did the same thing, but decided to leave it. It took a LONG time to patch, but eventually completes OK.

I know it takes a long time to patch but for me, it just says that the application has quit unexpectectly and asks me to send to apple which i know won't really help.

You ever get this fixed? I am having the same issue, just bought the game and tried everything. Loads fine before the patches, i install all of them perfectly fine then the application quits unexpectedly and won't load again.

I had the same issue when I first tried to install the patch. I tried it again and it worked the second time.
