Hello everyone,

Does anyone have any idea how resistant the sport band is to dust? I have seen some watches that have rubber type bands that resist dust really well. And others, not so much.

The good thing about rubber is that it can always be cleaned easily, but if it easily getting dirty, then that can get annoying.

Any ideas?

There is a picture in one of the threads on bands and the black band is especially bad

Assuming the finish is similar to the apple iPhone 6 silicone case, it will be a dust and lint magnet until it soaks in your skin oils. Then it stays pretty clean.

No worries.... Do what they told me to do when I bought the silicone case for my girlfriends iPhone 6.. Use a magic eraser and cleans it like new. So I am not worried about the sport band. After seeing how easy it is to clean I am sold.

How often are you paying attention to your watch band anyway?

And is that the sport silver or gray on the left?

I remember the original thread for this pic but what is the source of it? Like many of the replies to that original thread I'm skeptical of putting too much weight into this picture.

Ouch, not sure I like the look of that. I was so sure about the black sports band.. now not so much...
That pic is taken after probably at least 29 guys with hands clammy of excitement have fondled that watch and band, I wouldn't obsess too much over it. Black stuff always looks dustier than other colors, that's the way it has always been. Just take off the band and wash it off with dishwashing liquid as needed and you'll be good to go again.
