Can I shower with sport loop?

how best to clean it?

Thanks.

Yes you can shower with it. I've worn mine in the surf many times and wash it off in the shower. It just takes a while to dry out.

I have 4 of them and I workout, then shower with on to clean and then change bands to a dry one. Have been doing this for a couple of years (used Sports Bands before).

Depends on the temperature. I put them outside in the sun for an hour or so. Inside it takes a few hours. I pat them dry with a towel after washing to get most of the water out. It’s best to have multiple bands. . That way you can change to a dry one while the wet one dries.

My experience is different than @Otflyer - or at least seems different.

I typically shower with my watch and sport loop on after a lunchtime run. I don't specifically wash the loop but it gets rinsed out just in the normal course of things. When drying off I blot the loop with my towel and keep it on as I go back to work. Perhaps due to a typical lower humidity office environment, it doesn't feel wet and seems to dry off pretty quickly. I've not felt any need to swap out for a different one.

I wear my Sport Loop in the pool several times a week. To clean, I just throw my Sport Loop into the washing machine--no special treatment needed. Where I live the wet band dries out quickly.

@artfossil

What other bands do you wear?

I have a new Nike Sport band but haven't even worn it yet. I have four Sport Loops. They are just so much more comfortable and also great in water/humidity/at night.

I am finding that the pattern of the weave gets “ imprinted” on my wrist. Not a rash. Is this normal?

I shower with my sport loop daily. After my shower, I pat it dry with a towel. It usually fully air-dries within the hour.

I have a sport loop and I found it dries out reasonably well after swimming, a little rinse in fresh water and then a squash with a towel then it seem dry by the time I put it on charge.

To me it's not as nice as the sport band and I'm doing a lot of running, swimming, showering so I don't use it as much as the sport band but perfectly fine mostly :)

Can I hand wash?
yes

No offense but you’re *really* overthinking this.

Mine get “washed” (so to speak) when I wear my watch into the shower after a hot sweaty run. i do nothing special other than maybe loosening the band slight so my skin gets washed too.

That’s it.

The sport bands hold up well. They don’t seem to attract any real dirt and they don’t seem to require any special care.

Seriously. Sport Loop bands are a thing of beauty and a joy forever. Just get one!
