Ugh
wasn't thinking as I'm a typical male.
Ordered the Sport 38mm for my wife and the Stainless 42mm for myself.
She is not a techno-savvy nerd like me nor is she appreciative of gadgets and things and I figure this will be used a lot for exercise so the lighter weight would be nice. Both of which led me to believe ordering the sport for $200 less than the stainless made sense for her.
Well, one part of the equation I left out was that she almost always wears a couple of Yurman bracelets (example below) along with a tennis bracelet on her watch hand. Her current watch has sapphire crystal, and scratching was never an issue, but how about the ion-x of the sport?
How do you think it will fare vs. bracelets?
There are endless threads on scratch resistance, but I never saw this addressed.
Any women care to chime in with their experience regarding bracelets and watches?
