Sport with Leather loop band has wings..No or a Go?

I think it's the wrong sized band for the watch.

That has got to be the leather loop on a 38mm Watch. Remember that the leather loop only comes in the 42mm size.

If you had the right size band on it, that would actually look pretty good. Now I see why apple decided not to have the ability to pair the watch with any band when ordering...

My guess is that if you had the ability to customize the band included with the watch less people would have bought the stainless steel version.

I'm amazed the store allowed you to try a 38mm watch with a 42 mm band... they're not even supposed to let you swap bands (allegedly) but that seems like a major no go.

My experience wasn't much better. I ask the employee to swap bands and he says "Whoa. No way I wanna go there man. Not even going to try." Another employee comes over and says thats one of the basics to even trying on the watch.

Is the watch a 38mm or 42mm? If it's the latter that would explain the lack of wings.

Despite the wings from the wrong sized band looking really tacky, the combination itself looks pretty good. It really makes me think of the first-gen iPhone, which will always hold a special place in my heart.
