ESPN disappointed me last night. I wanted an alert every time there was a new pick in the draft. I searched the Apple Store and it appears that NFL doesn't have a Watch App either. Any Sports apps out there that will send out alerts/notifications as to game starts, scores, etc?

MLB.com's "At Bat" app has been good so far. I only follow baseball (Go Diamondbacks!!) and that app has always been great.

If all else fails, set up some IFTTT channels for your favorite teams. I have them set up for about 4 or 5 and get text alerts, which will show up on your watch. You don't have to have an app for all that either.

It does, except when you have more than one team you're interested in. When you go into your favorite teams on the iPhone app, whichever team is first gets all the news updates. The second appears to only get in game updates.

I only follow one team, my Diamondbacks, so that's not an issue, but I accidentally turned on "All" for news one time and got bombarded!

You a fan too? My heart got broken today...13 innings. :(

You should be able to create multiple instances of glances. If you like 2 MLB teams, you can create 2 different glances for those teams. Same with weather, stocks, and world clocks.

How do you do that? I have 2 favorite teams and only 1 of the team shows up on the At Bat app on the watch.
What I miss about the Pebble MLB Scorewatch is the ability to check the scores for all the games that day.

I meant that Apple should provide a mechanism for that. For app glances that have arrays of data, just showing the default isn't enough.

It made me smile when I went to the Diamondbacks game on Saturday, and my watch thunked me on the wrist when I walked into the ballpark to welcome me to Chase Field. :)

Sports Notification Apps?

Same here at AT&T PARK this weekend. Love AT Bat and Passbook

A little late I assume but MLB At Bat updated their app for league scoreboard on apple watch!
