Spot light created a window I can't close...

I did a spot light search today for a specific folder. The search showed the usual things, and I clicked on the folder I wanted. However, it opened not only my folder, but looks like a iCal entry. I know I have a class that repeats with a similar name in iCal, but I did not choose anything of the sort. In the end, this iCal window sat on top of everything and would not go away except for a reboot. Any one else seen this behavior?
