Lately, I have noticed on my iPad Pro 11” 2021 a light spot about ½ inch in diameter and located in the center about 2ins in from the top camera area edge. It wipes away when I clean it, but…

This is very similar to the look if I remember right to the problem I had on my iPad Pro 10.5”. Could be a heat spot and finger oils reacting as it is on the surface and not the LED itself, and there doesn’t seem to be any damage. I can only see this when the screen is off and black, no visual effect with the screen on (With the iPad 10.5” this showed when the screen was on). Long term I don’t know the effect and is a concern. I have been also getting occasional non-responsive touch, just no input using the finger and most of the time using the pencil will work if this happens, otherwise, I have to shut down the iPad and that usually takes care of the problem.

I have APPLE Care so can just take it in to see what they think, but that is a trip to the big city. So, I’m just asking here if any other users have these issues; spot and non-touch

During August 2022, I experienced several times that the screen on my iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation) was totally unresponsive. I turned it off and on and it worked for a while. When the problem reoccurred, I contacted Apple Support on August 30. The consultant recommended a factory reset, which was done. So far, the problem has not reoccurred. (I have not experienced spots on the screen.)
