There's a spot on my Powerbook screen that won't clean! I'm sure it will be very difficult for anyone to see, but here's a couple of photos.

It doesn't show up on a screen shot.

It won't clean with iKlean.

It's tiny, but enough to bug you. So, I wonder if it's bug remnants?

Any ideas anyone?

Either its a scuff on the screen...or..

you have a piece of dust/debris between the LCD panel itself and the backlight. I have 2 bits like this on mine, drives me crazy, but there is no solution beyond some mac-surgery.

I have this on my phone. Its almost to the point where I HAVE to get a new one because I cant see the screen.

I had the exact same problem with my iBook G4. AppleCare? If you do... tell them it's either a hair or dirt that got in and shouldn't have; worked for someone I knew...

I do have Applecare. I was just at a store grand opening yesterday, I guess I should have let them look at it. Oh, well, another excuse to go back!

I think it's debris or something under the screen. Boy, that's frustrating!

Thanks for the replies.
