Hello everybody,

I've got a PowerBook G4 which runs Leopard and the latest Spotify for PowerPC, v0.66 I think. It's not compatible with the new Spotify for Android app, which can do remote control of newer Spotify versions.

Is there any Bluetooth or wifi app that can at least remote control that old Spotify? At least play/pause/next controls. If it could add songs to the queue it would great... but I doubt that's possible.

We have a meeting for tomorrow, with that laptop hooked up to a stereo (we use that PowerBook because if "something wrong" happens to it, like some idiot pouring liquid, it won't be a big loss). Rule one is that no one but me approaches to the music equipment but it would be better if I could control it with my phone.

I've tried vnc but it's a bit complicated to control with a 5" Android phone.

Thanks in advance.

Enrique

You could try using the Rowmote app on android.. A helper app is available here: http://regularrateandrhythm.com/apps/rowmote-pro/rowmote-helper-versions.php

And you could download phone the app on the Play Store ( It costs 0,99$, but its worth it)

I thought rowmote wasn't compatible with older Macs but it works like a charm.

Just bought it at Google's Play Store (€0.73 here in Spain).

It's not the same as the Spotify App but with well designed playlists it'll do the job.

Thank you very much
