spotlight breaks are being in Windows

So I have my mac setup with bootcamp. When I am in Mac my spotlight is fine. I reboot into Windows and do stuff. When I reboot back into Mac my spotlight is not finding my applications. I have to rebuild my spotlight index. Any ideas on what is going on? Thanks

Spotlight does NOT like Non- Mac OS Extended formatted drives. So it is VERY smart to use system Preferences->Spotlight, Privacy tab and add your Boot Camp drive. Trust me this will fix your problem.
