Spotlight Indexing - progress bar not moving

Hello,

I cloned my Snow Leopard hard drive and updated to El Capitan. Spotlight says it is indexing but the progress bar never moves. It has been sitting for hours.

Is there any way to see what exactly is happening and whether it is actually indexing?
