Hi,
Since upgrading to Yosemite, amongst other problems I've noticed that Spotlight has started indexing my hidden files. Files in ~/Library and even /Library for example.
No idea why this is happening, it leads to a lot of unwanted noise in my search results.
Any idea why this could be happening and how to resolve it? I know I can exclude folders but I had thought that all hidden files and folders were excluded from indexing by default?
Thanks for any help!
[Edit] I have tried rebuilding my Spotlight index (mdutil -E /) with no change.
