Spotlight is indexing?

Spotlight is indexing, even if I turn off, restart the ibook G4. I have like 4,000 documents that were properly indexed and I could find with no issues, however the spotlight thing is indexing over and over again...

What could be the issue?

Probably because you turned it off. Simply let it complete indexing.
