Spotlight not finding anything...

Hey all. I just transfered my files from my 15" powerbook to my 1GHz PowerMac G4 via the firewire transfer option at the setup of OS 10.4. Now, when I search for something I know exists in spotlight I get no results found. Do I have to do something for spotlight to see all my files? You help would be much appreciated. Thank you :)

If you *just* transfered all your files, you'll have to wait for Spotlight to index the drive. It's a one-time deal, but it could take quite a while if you have a lot of files.
