Spotlight not searching Growly Notes

I'm new to Mac so I may be posting in the wrong area, but I hope this is relevant.

I'm impressed with the Spotlight, but today I just searched for an item I added to Growly Notes, and Spotlight didn't find it, nor would a search in Finder reveal text that I had put in as the title to a Note.

Have I missed something in the configuration, or is this a problem with the app or the OS?

If I need to do something, please tell me what.
