Spotlight not showing apps

My spotlight doesn't show apps, even though I have applications checked in the preferences.

Deleted preferences and tried to fix the index, per the guide here. Not sure what to do.

Maybe the permissions are screwed on the pref file, but deleting that should fix those ...
