Ok, maybe I am missing something. Let‘s say I‘m in Safari and want to quickly convert units or do some light maths. In iOS 12 I could swipe down from the top, the lock screen would appear and with a swipe to the right there was a search bar where I could do all these things. (It used to be on the lock screen itself, but some iOS version thought it would be a good idea to add an extra swipe).

Now with iPadOS 13, right swipe from lockscreen brings me this widget thing and no search bar at all. So the only way to get it seems to close the app and swipe down from home screen. This can‘t be right, can it? Is this a setting I need to change on iPadOS?
