for some reason, spotlight won't pick up any of my recent photos (the recent ones were transfered straight to iphoto while the older ones were from my pc). any ideas of why this is happening?

ugh.
i reindexed the spotlight and now no photos show up in spotlight search. they are all fine and dandy in iphoto and the hard drive, but for some reason, spotlight isn't picking up the photos. i wonder why the photos don't show up though.

i ran terminal and did this: mdimport -f ~/Pictures. apparently, it fixed my problem by indexing the photos, and now the photos are showing up again. and apparently this is a problem for spotlight sometimes.
