Is there any way to specify the order in which you would like the Spotlight menu to list results? I'd like to stick the dictionary at the top.

Go to System Preferences, then Spotlight. Drag the items in the order you'd like them to appear and check or uncheck items that you want to search.

Why did I not try that? But looking now, it doesn't list "Look Up" as an option in there. That's just dumb.

Look Up should always be in a certain place in your results. I, too, wish I could change that order.

However, if you come across a word on your browser or most other apps, you will be able to highlight it, right click and click "Look Up". Or you can highlight, then hit Command+Control+D or in Lion just double-click a word with three-fingers.
