I am getting incomplete information returned by Spotlight. In the past, it's always displayed folder names next to results for documents and similar files, which is useful if you have lots of items with the same name, as you can use the folder name to differentiate.

In High Sierra, it's not doing this at all - it only displays the name of the file. This isn't much use if, like me, you do have lots of files with the same name, as you have to click on each one in turn and hold down the Command key to view the name until you find the one you want.

Occasionally I can run a search and it'll display the parent folder name next to folders matching my search, but the if I re-run the search, the parent folder names will no longer be displayed. It won't do this for any sort of item.

I have tried rebuilding Spotlight, using the "add and remove" method, as well as via the command line, all to no avail.

Is anyone else seeing this? I find it greatly reduces the usefulness of Spotlight (and is very annoying).
