Spotlight search for epub content

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to enable Spotlight to search epub content (the actual text of the book). I found an epub reader in the App Store, Murasaki, that claims to have a plugin that enables Spotlight to search epub content, but I wanted to see if there was a way of doing this without having to pay for an ereader that I don't need. Is there a plugin that's offered separately or some other way of doing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
