Spotlight searches everything except..

Playlists. This has to be an oversight on Apple's part. I have a rather large list of playlists so yesterday I thought I would put spotlight to work, but was rather disappointed when it refused to bring up playlists.

No, it doesn't search everything except playlists. It doesn't search the contents of any third party apps - apple hasn't yet provided an SDK to allow developers to have their apps' search results presented in the spotlight results.

To me that's far bigger an oversight than lack of playlist searching.

3.0 updates will probably update Spotlight, for sure.

It also will not find phone numbers. It only searches by name.
